Terms and conditions
Mobile Beauty UK (the “Company”) is a nationwide beauty treatments and massage booking service ( the ”Service”) which supplies beauty technicians throughout the country. The Company only provides the Service and does not personally offer ANY beauty treatments or advise people on what beauty treatments are suitable for them.
If you have not had a particular treatment before you should always check with the technician about that particular treatment. You must disclose to the technician any allergies and medical conditions which you suffer from, and anything else you feel is relevant before the start of each treatment.
All technicians booked through the Company are fully qualified and are required to carry appropriate insurance cover for the treatment(s) they provide. Should anything go wrong with a treatment or damage is caused to your property, you should seek redress solely from the technician; the Company does not accept any liability for any act or omission of technicians booked through this Service.
The Company and technician reserve the right to immediately terminate an appointment under the following circumstances:
1: In the event that ANYONE present at the appointment is abusive, aggressive or acts in a manner which makes the technician feel uncomfortable or fear for their safety;
2: Massage treatments provided are strictly for health and beauty purposes and of a non-sexual nature. Our technicians do not offer sexual services of any kind, this will be stated at the time of a booking – should the technician feel you are acting inappropriately he/she shall be entitled to leave the immediately; and
3: In the event that ANYONE present at the appointment, which in the technician’s opinion is under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances and is acting in a manner which makes the technician feel uncomfortable or fear for their safety, he/she shall be entitled to leave immediately.
In the event that an appointment is terminated under the circumstances stated above, you shall not be entitled to a refund of the booking fee or any monies paid prior to the appointment.
Payments Terms
Booking and treatment payments: The Company will take its booking fee at the time the booking is confirmed; the balance of the treatment fee shall be paid to the technician when the treatment(s) is completed.
Booking cancelations: Booking fees are non-refundable.
Weddings, School Proms and other special occasions: For bookings made at peak times of the year you will be required to pay a deposit to secure that particular date; the FULL balance of the treatment(s) must be paid within 30 days of the appointment date. We will usually take deposits for advanced bookings via cheque, cash or bankers draft but there will be occasions where we take the payment via credit/debit card for convenience. We would expect the balance to be paid either by cheque, cash or bankers draft. In the event that you cancel the booking you will not be entitled to a refund on any monies paid.
In the event that the technician is unable to fulfil a booked appointment, we shall use our best efforts to arrange for a replacement technician for that date. Should we be unable to supply a replacement technician for that date we will arrange another appointment for a later date, all deposits are non refundable.
